Mr Ong Ie Cheong
Chairman
Mr Ong Ie Cheong, a Malaysian, was
appointed to the Board on 28 October 2005. He
is also a member of the Audit and Remuneration
Committees. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree
from the University of Malaya, Malaysia.
Mr Ong Ie Cheong was the executive Chairman of PPB Group
Bhd, Managing Director of Central Sugars Refinery
Sdn Bhd and a Board member of PPB Oil Palms Berhad
and Tradewinds (M) Berhad. He also sits on the
Board of HICOM Holdings Berhad, HICOM Berhad and
several private limited companies.
Mr Ong Ie Cheong does not have any family relationship with
any other Director and/or major shareholder of
the Company and has no conflict of interest with
the Company. He has had no convictions for offences
within the past ten years.
Mr Ong Ie Cheong attended seven
out of eight Board Meetings of the Company held
in the financial year ended 31 March 2007. |

Dato’ Lukman Ibrahim
Director
Lukman Bin Ibrahim, aged 43, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Magna Cum Laude (Majoring in Accounting and Finance) from Temple University, Philadelphia, U.S. and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), United Kingdom. He also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Temple University, Philadelphia, U.S. He is a member of the Chartered Accountant Malaysia and a fellow of Chartered Certified Accountants. Presently, he is the Group Chief Financial Officer of DRB-HICOM Berhad.
Prior to joining DRB-HICOM, Dato’ Lukman was seconded by Proton Holdings Berhad to PHN Industry Sdn Bhd in various capacity with the latest appointment being the Managing Director. PHN Industry Berhad Sdn Bhd is a subsidiary of DRB-HICOM Berhad and it's principal activities are manufacturing stamped metal parts, sub-assembly of automotive components for the motor industry and design and manufacture of dies.
He also sits on the boards of HICOM Facility Management Berhad, Horsedale Development Berhad, Rebak Island Marina Berhad and several other private limited companies.
